Identification:The agile wallaby of Australia has sandy or golden brown fur. Its hip and cheek stripes are white. They also have short ears.
Habitat:Wet tropics, lowlands
Diet:Herbivore: grass roots, native grasses
Reproduction:The wallaby breeds year-round. The single young remains in the mother's pouch for about 30 weeks and becomes independent at 12 months.
Groups of wallabies shelter during the day under dense vegetation.
Behavior:The agile wallaby is a night feeder.
